TuTu Cute is an elite dance and cheer studio in Fredericksburg, TX. We offer a variety of classes including tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, cheerleading, and tumbling.
We are open to all children ages 2 years and up! We work hard to give our students the skills they need to succeed in the dance and cheer environment - and we have fun doing so!

Heather L. Davis moved to Fredericksburg from Atlanta in late 2010. A former elementary school teacher, she entered the fitness industry in 1997. Her experience ranges from personal training and boot camps, to senior fitness and group exercise in gyms like Elite Fitness, 24 HR Fitness and Gold’s Gym. She is certified through the American Fitness and Aerobic Association, as well as current in CPR/AED. She most recently became R.I.P.P.E.D certified.
When she isn’t committed to the health, fitness and well-being of her clients, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, Rob, and her two children, Ryan and Sydney.
Heather Crenwelge Brown was born and raised in Fredericksburg, TX. She attended St. Mary's School and graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 2005. As a child, Heather enjoyed dancing, cheering, and tumbling. She danced for seven years, competing at both regional and national levels. She took private cheer lessons locally and at Cheers in San Antonio, and cheered for two years while in school. Heather also took 10+ years of tumbling.
Heather resides in Fredericksburg, TX with her husband, Caleb, and their two children - Kaylee Grace and Kaiden. Heather opened TuTu Cute Dance and Cheer Studio in September 2011.
Maggie Stevens started dancing just after her 3rd birthday and hasn’t stopped. With formal training in ballet, tap, clogging and modern, she began competing at age five. Maggie danced with a dance troupe in North Carolina until she moved to Texas at the age of 15 where she continued to dance throughout high school and college. Just after college, Maggie moved to China and taught ballet, tap and jazz for two years.
Now back in Texas, Maggie takes every opportunity she can get to dance. She and her husband Michael and their daughters Meredith and Margaret make their home in Fredericksburg.
Savannah Sikes was born and raised in Fredericksburg, TX and is currently a senior at Heritage School. Savannah began taking dance lessons when she was three years old. She eventually worked her way up to taking lessons for 10-12 hours per week, participating for 10 years on competition dance teams, including tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and ballet. Tap has always been her specialty, and for her past four years of competition, her solo and trio routines were choreographed by Anthony Morigerato of New York City, currently the tap choreographer for "So You Think You Can Dance!” Savannah just finished her third year as a varsity cheerleader at Heritage and won the coveted leadership award at cheer camp in Dallas, TX. She loves children and looks forward to seeing her precious students' faces every day!
Although she has spent most of her life in Texas, Kelsey was born in Albequerque, New Mexico. At the age of 7 she began her classical ballet training under Fernando and Karen Schaffenburg at the Schaffenburg Ballet Academy in Ft. Worth, Texas. After 6 years under their instruction, Kelsey and her family moved to Fredericksburg where she continued her training at Ballet San Antonio under Myra Worthen and in briefly in Kerrville under Nursel Conrad. In 2002, the Thompson family moved to Billings Montana where Kelsey had the privilege to continue her training in ballet, modern, and contemporary with Betty Loos and Julia Marble at The School of Classical Ballet. During the next four years, she had the opportunity to train with members of Aspen Ballet, Alonzo Kings’ Lines Ballet, Paul Taylor’s modern company and perform original choreographic works by Mary Hudetz, a former member of Alonzo Kings’ Lines Ballet. Under the supervision of Betty Loos, Kelsey began student teaching as well.
In 2006, Kelsey and her family moved back to Fredericksburg where she trained at San Antonio Ballet Conservatory, Ballet San Antonio, and under Lisa Bohnert in Fredericksburg. She participated in a few FTC productions, as well as taught ballet and Irish Dance.
After graduating from high school, she moved to Jackson, MS to train, and eventually perform with Ballet Magnificat, a professional touring ballet company. Over the last six years she has traveled and performed all over the states and internationally (Including Honduras, South Korea, the Philippines, China, Macedonia, Kosovo, Israel, Austria and Germany). Touring an average of 170 days/ year, teaching workshops and performing approx. 60 shows/year kept her fairly busy.
In August 2013 she moved back to Fredericksburg to recover from some chronic injuries and pursue her college degree online with The King’s College. In addition to her studies, she works full-time in the golf shop at Boot Ranch and is so excited to join the Tutu Cute family!
Kathryn Thompson was born in Ft. Worth, TX. At the age of six, she began her ballet training in Billings, MT at the School of Classical Ballet. She trained four years under the instruction of Jana Stockton and Betty Loos. After moving to Fredericksburg, TX in 2006, Kathryn trained at Fredericksburg Youth Ballet Ensemble and Ballet San Antonio Academy under the instruction of Marieli Gaurdiola – Pope. Her most recent training has been at the Ballet Conservatory of South Texas (BCSTX) under the instruction of Catherine Batchelor, Kym Lanier, Marieli Gaurdiola – Pope and former principle dancer with Pennsylvania Ballet, Dede Barfield. While at BCSTX Kathryn was a member of the Senior Conservatory Company for two years. During this time she was given the privilege of dancing in ballets such as, the Nutcracker, Firebird and Swan Lake. Kathryn has danced main roles in The Nutcracker as Clara and Dew Drop, Beauty and the Beast as Lumiere and Kym Lanier’s Twas The Night Before Christmas as Elf Louise. She has performed original contemporary works by choreographers Gabriel A. Zertuche and Joe Istre.
Kathryn has collaborated with local choir director and musician, Mark Hierholzer to choreograph solo pieces to three of his original compositions. These have been performed live at various Fredericksburg Chorale Concerts. In addition to choreography and composition, Kathryn and Mark Hierholzer have performed live simultaneous improvisations.
Kathryn has enjoyed teaching and sharing her love of ballet for a year and half and is excited to collaborate with Heather Brown and Tutu Cute.
At the beginner's level, these classes are designed to teach students rhythm, coordination, and terminology of tap, allowing them to develop the proper skills and structure to further their tapping abilities..
As students advance, they will begin to refine their basic tap skills, combining them with new steps to create intricate combinations and exciting routines.
At the beginner’s level, students will learn ballet fundamentals and terminology while developing strength, confidence, balance, and flexibility. With traditional ballet training, students learn how concentration and endurance are essential to perfect their ballet techniques.
As students advance, classes will focus on complex combinations and routines. Students will take their fundamental ballet moves and maneuver them to become precise and elegant. These classes also help students develop strength and grace to outshine their competition.
Beginner tumbling classes start with students developing the proper strength and flexibility needed to master more advanced skills. The skills acquired through tumbling classes will help strengthen your student's ballet and cheer skills as well.
Cheer classes teach students motion placement and jump technique, along with cheers, chants, and pom pom routines.
Our advanced classes are designed for those students looking to tryout for their school cheerleading squad. Theses students improve on precise motion placement, motion sharpness, and strengthening their jumps. This prepares them to successfully and confidently try out for their school squad.
Boot Camp: 55 min class of athletic drills emphasizing strength and cardio endurance.
Boot Camp Express: 45 minute Boot Camp.
Tone and Stretch: 30 minute total body sculpting followed by 30 minutes of stretching.
Total Body Tone: 55 minute total body sculpting using various exercise equipment.
**Kid Fit: 45 minute educational and fun fitness class for preschoolers ages 3-5. Space is limited to 8 and is a $40.00 monthly fee. Children must be potty trained/wear pull ups.
**Jogging Club: February-May spend 45 minutes walk/ jogging with other beginner runners. A great way to train for a 5k with friends. Requires monthly sign up with no additional cost. (I am a beginner runner myself so let's do this together)
**Stroller Divas: March-May we tone and stroll our way downtown using bands and dumbbells. Children in strollers only. Requires monthly sign up with no additional cost.
